Honorary Chairpersons 2010 - Bob and Judy vohs

Bob's childhood was spent in Wea, Kansas, where his ancestors homesteaded and many are buried in the parish cemetery.  "I had an aunt who was an Ursuline sister from Paola.  She was a great role model for my family.'  Judy's childhood was spent in Omaha, Nebraska where her father worked for Union Pacific railroad.  Following Bob's Army service in Germany, they settled down and have lived nearly their entire 46 years of marriage in Prairie Village as members of St. Ann's and owners of a travel agency.  While raising their two daughters and two sons, Judy was a member of the parish council, school board and the Bishop Meige Mother's Club. Together, Bob and Judy have been RCIA sponsors and , as president of the Kansas City, Kansas Serra Club, Bob had devoted his time to fostering vocations.  And now, as grandparents of 12, they've said simply, "We try to give support and encouragement to our family and set a good example."
